# Who will win the Champions League?

The Champions League’s semi-finals are about to begin, with Liverpool, Barcelona, Ajax, and Tottenham qualifying after beating their respective opponents in the quarter-finals. Who could have predicted that Juventus would be completely dominated by Ajax while Manchester City would have their dreams shattered by Tottenham? Guardiola’s side fought very well in the second leg at the Etihad but failed to qualify in the end. Juventus, who turned around the huge goals deficit against Atletico Madrid in the round of 16, gave a dismal performance against Ajax and deservedly went out of the European competition.

Each of the four remaining teams is quite capable of winning this year’s Champions League because they all have given such big performances to get to this stage. Ajax’s story is the most incredible here, who gave two brilliant performances to knock out two footballing giants- Real Madrid and Juventus.

Since the elimination of Manchester City, the Spanish giants Barcelona have emerged as favorites to lift the European crown. Their star man Lionel Messi is in a great form while Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho are helping the Catalans well to maintain their supremacy in the league and the European competition. Barcelona is priced at 5/1 to win the Champions League with William Hill.

The [**bookies**](https://www.thebookiesoffers.co.uk/) Bet365, William Hill and Paddy Power also offer mobile-optimized websites and mobile apps which can be better in some cases than betting on the actual site. For new customers, Bet365 is offering £100 in bet credits which requires a minimum deposit of £5 and 1x settled bet. While with Paddy Power, you can place your first bet on any Sportsbook market and you will be refunded your stake if you lose.

Barcelona will take on [**Liverpool**](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2019/04/27/four-findings-liverpool-5-0-huddersfield-town/) in the semi-finals, with Klopp’s side easily crushing Porto by an aggregate 6-1 victory in the quarter-finals. The Reds took their previous campaign all the way to the final where they lost against Real Madrid in the end. Liverpool are stronger this year with the new signings they made in the summer and it would take a great performance from Barcelona to beat them.

At one point, Napoli threatened to end Liverpool’s European dreams at the group stage, but they emerged victorious in the all-important Anfield game and has been no less than perfect since then. Bayern Munich were tough opponents but they cruised past the German giants after giving a solid performance at the Allianz Arena. While in the quarter-finals, they comprehensively dominated Porto to head confidently into the next round. They are currently priced at 8/1 with Ladbrokes to win the Champions League trophy. Ladbrokes is also offering £20 betting offer for its customers.

Nobody expected Tottenham to make it this far in the Champions League but Pochettino’s side defied all odds to make it to the semi-finals. They firmly took control of the tie in the first leg against Borussia Dortmund who then couldn’t overturn the deficit in the second game at their home. And against Manchester City, they showed great courage, energy and will to secure the slim aggregate victory that shattered the quadruple dreams of Guardiola. Spurs have given such huge performances this season that no-one will be surprised if European glory comes to their home. You can back Tottenham to be the European champions and receive 40/1 with Unibet who are also offering £40 free bets for its customers. You can also avail a £20 free bet if you choose Coral while £50 welcome bonus will be yours if you select MansionBet.

Tottenham will face Ajax whose European campaign this season is baffling everyone in the world. Led by a captain whose age is 19, baby Ajax is on the hunt of giants at the moment. They humiliated Spanish giants [**Real Madrid**](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/03/05/real-madrid-vs-ajax-champions-league-last-16-second-leg-live/) at the Bernabeu while Ronaldo’s Juventus also saw their end game at the hands of Ajax. It would not be a shock if Ajax wins the Champions League this season.
