# Wijnaldum produces superb piece of skill on Gomez in Reds training

Liverpool are preparing to face Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, looking for a return to winning ways.

The Reds have suffered consecutive defeats for the first time this season, coming unstuck away to Watford and Chelsea.

For the first time in 2019/20, there is pressure on Liverpool after a dip, as they look to edge one step closer to Premier League glory.

Twelve more points will seal the title, in what would be a legendary achievement by Jurgen Klopp and his team.

The players appeared to be in good spirits on Thursday, as they were put through their paces in training.

Footage emerged of Gini Wijnaldum producing a brilliant nutmeg on Joe Gomez during a rondo exercise, outlining the Dutchman’s ability.

The 29-year-old has been frustratingly quiet of late, but the hope is that he returns to top form against Bournemouth.

When Wijnaldum is in top gear he is a truly formidable player, but dips such as these can make him ineffective.

He is too good a footballer not to replicate his previous form soon, though.
