# Coutinho has no desire to leave Liverpool

While the summer is about bringing in quality players to Liverpool this summer, Jurgen Klopp will be doing all he can to keep the ones he already has at the club.

Philippe Coutinho is always a player who gets linked with moves elsewhere and it appears PSG are the club making the strongest move for the Brazil international this summer.

Having signed a new long-term deal back in January with no contractual release clause, Coutinho is thoroughly enjoying life at Liverpool and has no desire to leave Anfield this summer, says [Goal](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/683/main/2017/07/10/36959752/psg-face-further-transfer-failure-if-they-pursue-liverpools?ICID=HP_BN_1).

Liverpool are understood to have fielded no enquiries so far during this transfer window from PSG for Coutinho after rejecting an approach from the Ligue 1 club last summer.

PSG want to bring in a big name this summer but appear to be losing out in the respective battles to land Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, with Coutinho also named on their wish-list.

However, Liverpool’s highest paid player doesn’t appear likely to be on the move this summer or at any point in the foreseeable future.
