# Combined XI – Manchester United vs Liverpool

On Sunday, Liverpool take the trip to Manchester United in what promises to be a fiery occasion between two sides plotting a charge for the Premier League title.

Both sides have enjoyed a good first half to the season and will now be looking to really kick on in the remaining six months, starting with a win over their fierce rivals.

United currently sit in sixth place on the Premier League table, five points off Liverpool who are keeping up the pressure on league leaders Chelsea in sixth.

The Reds head into this game off the back of a 1-0 semi-final defeat in the EFL Cup to Southampton, whereas United go in after a comprehensive 2-0 win over Hull City in their respective semi-final.

It’s all set up to be a fascinating encounter and one that could bear a lot of importance on the race for the Champions League, and even the title.
