# Four Findings: Liverpool 1-1 Norwich City

What began with glimmers of genuine, albeit restrained, anticipation and excitement ended with tepid disappointment. Despite the long-awaited return of Daniel Sturridge, Liverpool failed to deliver a much-needed result at Anfield, drawing 1-1 with recently promoted Norwich City.

Under pressure manager Brendan Rodgers tinkered with the side again, trying to find a solution to the Reds’ flagging form. Rodgers returned to three at the back and two strikers and signs of life flickered in the first half.

Yet, Liverpool did not take their chances. Despite there being hints of encouragement, the home side allowed Norwich to settle into the match, eventually leveling and nearly nicking it. The result does little to relieve the pressure mounting on Rodgers and the club.

Here are four findings from the match.
