# Four Findings: Sunderland 0-1 Liverpool

In another ugly match, Liverpool found themselves digging deeper and fighting their way to a needed result. The Reds added to Sunderland’s misery in the final fixture of the year, beating the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light 1-0.

This match could easily have been easier with a much wider margin of victory, but Liverpool’s scoring struggles continue. Dodging their inability to put teams away and finish matches, especially against bottom-half teams, the visitors made a quick strike to start the second half stick for the victory.

As unconvincing and grinding as the match was, Liverpool have now found a way to win while not playing their best two weeks running. Getting results while struggling to find form has not been a common characteristic for the Merseysiders, but it is a welcome sign.

Here are four findings from the match.
