# Liverpool predicted XI: Arsenal (A)

Liverpool have won their last four away games in the Premier League and they’ll look to make it five on the spin when they travel to Arsenal on Friday.

The last time the Reds faced the Gunners away from home, they won 4-3 on the opening day of the season. In fact, Liverpool have scored at least three goals in their last four games against Arsenal, which bodes well for the clash at the Emirates.

Whilst any hopes of a league title win have been put to rest for another year, such is Manchester City’s dominance, Liverpool will be hoping to secure a top four place and a win at Arsenal would be a step towards achieving that goal.

Here’s the XI I expect to play in what should be a great game on Friday night:

### Simon Mignolet

Loris Karius was a surprise starter the last time these two sides met but I’m sure Mignolet will be in goal this time around.

### Joe Gomez

Gomez has ben excellent recently and I think Jurgen Klopp would prefer to have him at full-back instead of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

### Ragnar Klavan

While Klopp has rotated elsewhere, a lack of options means he has to continue using the same back two, so Klavan will start…

### Dejan Lovren

… as will Dejan Lovren.

### Andy Robertson

With Alberto Moreno injured, Robertson will continue at left-back.

### Jordan Henderson

The captain played very well at Bournemouth and I think he’ll start here too.

### Gini Wijnaldum

Klopp will want a lot of energy in midfield and as such, I think he’ll stick with Wijnaldum

### Philippe Coutinho

He was fantastic from the left against Bournemouth but I think Klopp will use Coutinho in midfield in this game.

### Sadio Mane

Got a well-earned break at the weekend, which it looked like he needed after some iffy moments against Everton and West Brom. He has given Arsenal the run around in the past and will be hoping to do the same again here.

### Mohamed Salah

The Premier League’s main man at the moment. He’s played a lot recently and he missed training on Wednesday but I think he’ll start again.

### Roberto Firmino

Firmino also has done well against Arsenal in the past and after a fantastic display at Bournemouth, he’ll be hoping to pick up where he left off.
