# Liverpool Predicted XI: Derby County (A)

Liverpool travel to Pride Park to face Derby County in the third round of the EFL Cup, just a few days after their victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Jurgen Klopp picked a full strength team for the second round tie against Burton Albion and could do the same again for this game, having played on Friday night rather than at the weekend.

The manager has confirmed that Roberto Firmino is fit to start but ruled out a return for Mamadou Sakho, who hasn’t played since the end of last season.

With no European football to contend with this season, Klopp can choose to play full-strength teams in the domestic cup competitions, something he wasn’t always able to do last season and has admitted that he wants to keep the players in rhythm, although he did say he won’t pick anybody who isn’t feeling 100%.

With that in mind, here’s the XI I think he’ll pick for the game at Derby:
