# Liverpool vs Crystal Palace: Key battles

Liverpool continue their pursuit of a place in the top four when they welcome Crystal Palace to Anfield on Sunday.

Palace have been something of a bogey team for the Reds in recent years but they will fancy their chances of completing the league double over the Eagles after a hard thought win over West Brom last week.

The Reds are two points ahead of Manchester City, who have a game in hand but are not in action this weekend in the league, with the small matter of an FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal.

Liverpool also sit six points clear of Manchester United, who have two games in hand over the Reds, but they are also in action this weekend, who travel to Burnley.

Ahead of the big game this afternoon, we’ve picked out some key battles among the two teams and look at where the game could be won and lost.
