# Liverpool’s last five wins against Crystal Palace

If Liverpool have a ‘bogey team’, it is certainly Crystal Palace. Since the Londoners returned to the Premier League for the 2013/14 season, they have won three and drawn one of their seven meetings with the Reds and will provide a stern test again on Saturday evening.

I’ll spare fans a reminder of *that* heartbreaking game in May 2014, but the Reds have so often been undone by Palace’s rapid counter-attacks, with their potent front three of Andros Townsend, Wilfried Zaha and former Liverpool player Christian Benteke more than capable of punishing the visitors again this weekend.

However, Liverpool got the better of Alan Pardew’s men on their last visit to Selhurst Park in March after two consecutive home defeats at the hands of the Eagles, and a similar result this weekend could see the Reds grab top spot, should other results go their way. Here we take a look back at our last five victories against Palace.
