# Player Ratings: Liverpool 1-0 Bournemouth

A much changed Liverpool side took on Bournemouth in the Capital One Cup and ended up winning a fairly uneventful game 1-0 to book their place in the quarter-finals.

Having drawn their last three matches under new manager Jurgen Klopp, the Reds will have been eager to get the win.

Nathaniel Clyne’s neat left-footed finish gave Liverpool the lead after he followed up well when Joao Teixeira’s back heel was cleared off the line and that proved to be enough.
