Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn has suffered a dead leg following the Under-19s victory over Maribor in the UEFA Youth League, according to ESPN’s Liverpool correspondent Glenn Price.
The young Reds cruised to an easy 3-0 victory over Maribor, with Woodburn managing to get his name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot.

Steven Gerrard’s youngsters went four points clear at the top of their group and could have extended their goal difference but for some poor finishing.
Welshman Woodburn is one of the brightest prospects to emerge from the Merseyside club’s youth system and his hard work was rewarded last week with a new five-year contract.
Woodburn suffered a dead leg but manager Steven Gerrard believes that it is only a minor knock and the player will be able to shake it off and recover in time for their next fixture.
The young midfielder has been praised for his range of passing and along with his leadership qualities as captain of the side, is slowly developing into the complete player, a lot like his current manager Gerrard.
Gerrard has been full of praise for his star man and believes that he has the right attitude to go on to have a hugely successful career with the Anfield club.
