# Four Findings: Bournemouth 4-3 Liverpool

Unfortunately, the Reds cannot always be the team that makes the dramatic comeback. On their trip to the South Coast, Liverpool collapsed from a 3-1 lead to 4-3 loss i a frantic 15 minute spell.

It seems so long since the Reds completely capitulated in such fashion. A 15-game unbeaten streak, particularly given Liverpool’s surging attack, made unraveling like this one fade from memory. All the same, Bournemouth’s belief brought back ghosts.

Liverpool had the match all but one but could not muster the final blow. Some might say that technology is to blame given the slim margin between 1-3 and 1-4 that was not to be. Still, a club with title ambitions cannot let officials determine matches. Liverpool simply failed to finish battering Bournemouth into submission.

Not unlike Leeds, the Cherries refused to be intimidated by a Reds side that has gone from dismantling opponents to grafting some results. While injuries have left the squad thin and no opposing team can be taken lightly, Liverpool let the home side back into the game by not squeezing the life out of them. It is a hard lesson to learn for a team looking to make that step from being in the picture to being the subject of the picture.

Should Jurgen Klopp’s Reds recognize that this can happen again if they cannot complete the KO, this match too will fade from memory. The best remedy is to put together another unbeaten run more impressive than the one that just ended.

Here are four findings from he match.
