# Who was Liverpool’s best player against Swansea?

James Milner netted a late penalty as Liverpool came from behind to defeat a stubborn Swansea City and move up to second in the Premier League.

Defensive errors threatened to cost the Reds once again when Leroy Fer opened the scoring from close range as Liverpool failed to clear from a Swansea corner.

Jurgen Klopp’s team flew out of the blocks in the second half, however, and Roberto Firmino headed in the equaliser from Jordan Henderson’s cross in the 54th minute.

The away side piled on the pressure but it was not until the 84th minute, when Angel Rangel clumsily brought down Firmino, that they were handed an opportunity to secure all three points. Milner duly converted from the spot, netting his third penalty in two games.
