# Augustinsson rubbishes transfer talk

Swedish Under-21 left-back Ludwig Augustinsson has spoken about the rumours linking him with a move, stating that he’s focused on his own side, FC Copenhagen.

Regarding transfer speculation, he told the Danish club’s official website: *“It’s not a problem for me.*

*“I have been accustomed to it before, although not to the same level as now.*

*“But I’ve learned how to handle it, and it’s about focus. All my focus is on FC Copenhagen and I have only thought about working again with my colleagues.”*

The defender caught the headlines this month by passing comment that the current crop of England Under-21s were overrated, yet it has been thought he could earn a new set of headlines by signing for Liverpool during the summer transfer window.

The left-back has only been at his current club since January, after signing from IKF Goteburg for a Swedish record fee of nearly £1m, but Dean Jones from *The Mirror* has reported that the Reds have been in talks to bring the 21-year-old defender to Anfield.

Liverpool could be in the market for a left-sided defender, with the only players they have in that position being Alberto Moreno and Jose Enrique, with the latter being heavily tipped to leave the club this summer, after an average few seasons at Anfield.
