# Alexander-Arnold chooses Henderson over Messi and Ronaldo

Liverpool’s players have been back at Melwood on Monday, [returning to training](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/386298-sadio-mane-james-milner-liverpool-training-photos-melwood-norwich) after their winter break.

The Reds face Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday evening, as Jurgen Klopp’s men look to carry on their [march towards Premier League glory](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/table).

Trent Alexander-Arnold could again be a key figure this weekend, as he looks to add to his tally of [10 league assists](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/318871/Show/Trent-Alexander-Arnold) this season.

After training on Monday, the 21-year-old spent a chunk of his afternoon taking part in a [Twitter Q&A](https://twitter.com/trentaa98), answering questions from supporters.

Alexander-Arnold revealed plenty of interesting answers, from saying that teeing-up Divock Origi against Barcelona is his greatest assist, to calling Steven Gerrard his idol.

When asked who he would rather play with out of all-time greats Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the right-back opted for Jordan Henderson instead:

Although no doubt slightly tongue-in-cheek, it is further proof of how highly Henderson is regarded by his teammates.

He will have been a huge help to Alexander-Arnold as his captain, giving him support on his way to becoming a first-team regular.
