# Alexander-Arnold talks highly of Oxlade-Chamberlain and Brewster’s return

Title contenders Liverpool are currently in Marbella undergoing some warm-weather training, with their Champions League first-leg against Bayern Munich not scheduled until next week.

In the south of Spain, Jurgen Klopp’s squad looks to have been significantly bolstered, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian Brewster returning to training after months on the sidelines.

Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has been no stranger to the physio room this campaign, spoke highly of the impact ‘the Ox’ and Brewster have had in their return.

Alexander-Arnold told the [club’s official website](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/337943-alexander-arnold-oxlade-chamberlain-brewster-marbella) about their return to training.

> It’s something that lifts the spirits massively. You see them every day in the treatment room, you see them around, and I think everyone just instinctively asks them how long they think it’s going to be now.
>
> It’s been a really long journey for both of them; Ox’s has been more high-profile than Rhian’s, but Rhian has put in just as much hard work as Ox has. A lot of credit needs to go to him at such a young age.
>
> He hasn’t played with the first team much, but he has been put in an environment where he is in and around the first team but hasn’t had the chance to quite show himself.
>
> The pair of them are a credit to themselves and epitomise the spirit around the team and around the club, that it is going to be very difficult to break that spirit and they’ll bounce back whenever there are setbacks.

Liverpool are not back in action until the 19th February, due to their absence from the FA Cup this weekend, and although Oxlade-Chamberlain and Brewster have returned to training, the two Englishmen are not expected to feature anytime soon.

Oxlade-Chamberlain had been expected to be on the sidelines until November, but could now return much sooner than that.
