# Alisson better than Bayern’s Neuer says Kahn

German legend Oliver Kahn believes that Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is better than Manuel Neuer.

[As reported by the Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6520093/Germany-legend-Oliver-Kahn-says-Liverpools-Alisson-better-Manuel-Neuer.html), the ex-Germany goalkeeper hailed Alisson as one of the best shot-stoppers in the game as he continues to impress in the Premier League.

With the two sides preparing to go head-to-head in the Champions League, Kahn was quizzed who he thinks is the best.

> At the moment it’s Alisson. He showed at the World Cup that he is a world-class keeper.

After a stunning season with Roma and a brilliant start life at Liverpool, Alisson is widely considered as not only the best Premier League goalkeeper, but many believe that are few better than him in the world.

Neuer was for some time regarded as the best in the world but a long-term injury appears to have taken its toll on the German.

He has since failed to recapture his best form in the Bundesliga and looks a shadow of the player that impressed so many under Pep Guardiola.
