# Alisson warns rivals that the Reds are only going to get better

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has warned the club’s rivals that the Reds are only going to get better as the season goes on.

[Speaking about the club’s title chances, as reported by the Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-just-scratching-surface-alisson-13512800), Alisson sent out a warning to those looking to challenge Liverpool.

> We know we can improve on the pitch. I think that’s a positive thing, taking into account the campaign we’ve had up until now – joint-leaders with Manchester City – and there is still room for growth, both technically and tactically.
>
> It’s a positive thing for us and a positive thing we can work towards, so we’re always aware it’s a difficult league and we can give everything on the pitch.
>
> That’s our biggest challenge: to continue growing and continue to get better, so when other clubs maybe have a dip or have peaked, we can continue getting better and doing our best on the pitch.

Alisson, who has been a mainstay in the team since arriving from Roma, has been cited as one of the major improvements in Liverpool this season.

After joining the club for big money, the Brazilian has made an instant impact at Anfield and adapted to life in the Premier League brilliantly.

Liverpool currently sit level on points at the top of the Premier League, alongside Manchester City.

The latter headed into the campaign as title favourites, but Liverpool have been tipped by many to compete with Pep Guardiola’s side this season.

The Reds are yet to lose this season, winning eight and drawing twice from their first 10 games, a record that Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to maintain for as long as possible.
