# ‘Always dangerous’ – Andoni Iraola raves about Liverpool player after Villarreal win

**Liverpool completed their second comeback win in a row as they secured a 4-3 win against Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League.**

After the away side went two goals up, Alexis Mac Allister halved the deficit with a fantastic header, after which Ronald Araujo scored just before half-time to restore parity.

The Argentine was at it again in the second half as his Rio Ngumoha expertly found his late run into the box, while Florian Wirtz added another shortly after to secure the points.

And speaking after the game, Iraola singled out Mac Allister for special praise for his all-action display in the centre of the park.

“Sometimes arrive into half-spaces and the first goal in a set-piece also is a great goal.

“He’s a great player heading the ball, even if he’s not the tallest, he is always dangerous.”

Mac Allister has been in fine form this season and could well play himself into earning a new contract if he carries on in the same vein.
