# Andy Robertson willing to end his career with Liverpool

Liverpool star Andy Robertson has admitted he is willing to stay with the Reds until the end of his career.

The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the world’s best left-backs since joining from Hull City in 2017.

Robertson, who began his career in Scotland with Queen’s Park and Dundee United, is now an Anfield favourite following his £8m move.

The Scot, along with right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, has made himself known for his attacking instincts and pinpoint deliveries from wide areas.

Robertson has made 47 appearances for the Reds this season and signed a new five-year contract with the club earlier this year.

And talking to the Daily Mail, relayed by the [Scotsman](https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/celtic/andrew-robertson-on-whether-he-d-rather-finish-his-career-at-celtic-or-liverpool-1-4936998), Robertson, who is a boyhood Celtic fan, admitted he would love to play for the Hoops, but revealed he would have no problems finishing his career with Liverpool.

> For me, at the level I’m playing at, I would love to finish my career at Liverpool if you gave me that option.

> I’d bite your hand off for that. But I know how hard it is to play at the elite level for a long period of time.

> I hope I can do that, but Celtic isn’t exactly a big drop.

> They play in the Champions League and Europa League and win trophies.

> Never say never. I’d love to pull on the jersey because it is my boyhood club and I still support them.

> But the way my career has gone, if you were to offer me staying at Liverpool for the rest of my career I’d take it.

The attacking left-back looks set to start for Jurgen Klopp against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, with Robertson looking to land his first piece of silverware with the Reds.
