# Arsenal facing potential injury crisis ahead of Liverpool clash

Unai Emery’s Arsenal are facing the possibility of heading into this weekend’s game against Liverpool in the midst of an injury crisis.

[As reported by the Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/arsenal-face-defensive-injury-crisis-15349276), the casualty list at the Emirates is growing by the day.

Hector Bellerin, Mohamed Elneny, Sead Kolasinac, Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny are all being tipped to miss the game on Saturday night.

Bellerin and Elneny are among the most recent players to be considered as doubts for the weekend, with the players both suffering from thigh injuries.

The news will come as a major boost to the Reds, who will be looking to maintain their good form when they face Emery’s men, who themselves are enjoying a good start to the season.

The Gunners are only four points behind Liverpool having only lost two of their opening 10 games this season.

Liverpool will be hoping to take advantage of Arsenal’s midweek involvement in the Carabao Cup.
