# Bacca declares himself happy at Sevilla

**Carlos Bacca looks set to stay at Sevilla.**

It was reported yesterday that striker Carlos Bacca was a target for Liverpool, however Bacca has told *Marca* that he is happy at Sevilla and is not thinking about any potential offers that may come in for him later this summer.

*“…I am happy here and I am one hundred percent focused on what remains this season.”*

The Colombian has scored 47 goals in just over 100 appearances for the Andalusian club and that sort of form has engaged interest from a number of Premier League clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Despite the 28-year-old admitting that Sevilla are a selling club, he remains hopeful of staying in the La Liga next season.

*“Everything is in the hands of the directors and the coaching staff, whether or not they count on me \[for next season\].”*
