# Barcelona in talks to re-sign Liverpool target Dani Olmo

Barcelona are said to be interested in a deal to re-sign Dani Olmo from Dinamo Zagreb.

[According to reports in Spain, as cited on Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/seguito-dal-milan-dani-olmo-verso-il-barcellona-11007), the Croatian midfielder, who has previously been linked with moves to Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund, is attracting interest following some impressive performances for Zagreb.

Olmo left Barcelona as a youngster to pursue first-team football elsewhere, but now the La Liga giants want to bring him back to the club.

The report claims that talks over a deal to sign Olmo are now underway, which means Liverpool will have to act fast if they want to step up their interest.

The Reds have [been aware of Olmo for some time](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2018/09/28/olmo-wants-liverpool-move/), having tracked him throughout his time in Croatia.

Having come through at La Masia, a return to Barcelona with the prospect of first-team football on the cards, a move to the Nou Camp could be too good to turn down.
