# Bayern’s Robben out of second leg clash, with Coman potentially available

Arjen Robben will be out of Bayern’s second leg clash with Liverpool, with the veteran Dutch winger suffering an injury in training.

The winger will miss the game with a calf injury, and will not be available for the second leg clash with Liverpool in Munich.

However, Liverpool’s opponents will be handed a boost, with Kingsley Coman reportedly ready to return to the lineup.

Speaking ahead of Bayern’s Bundesliga matchup with Wolfsburg at the weekend, Munich boss Niko Kovac told reporters, via [BeIN Sports](https://www.beinsports.com/en/uefa-champions-league/news/robben-out-of-bayern-liverpool-clash-but-co-1/1132724).

> Arjen Robben injured his calf and won’t make the squad.

> Coman is on his way back and we’re hopeful for the Liverpool game. Arjen definitely won’t be ready for that game. We expect \[Corentin\] Tolisso back at the end of this month.

Bayern and Liverpool drew 0-0 in the first leg, meaning that everything is to play for in the second leg.

Liverpool will be hoping to get an away goal to give themselves a big chance of progressing to the quarter finals.

The team who beat Liverpool in the final last season, Real Madrid, were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday, with AFC Ajax shockingly getting the win against the Spanish giants.
