# Bobby Adekanye agrees four-year deal to join Lazio

Bobby Adekanye has taken another step closer to leaving Liverpool this summer, after reportedly agreeing a four-year deal with Lazio.

According to reports in [Italy from Corriere dello Sport](https://www.corrieredellosport.it/news/calcio/calcio-mercato/2019/05/03-56482192/lazio-adekanye_firma_e_sorpresa_accordo_di_4_anni/?cookieAccept), the player has agreed personal terms with the Serie A side as he prepares to pursue first-team football.

Adekanye is widely expected to leave Anfield this summer and it has become a matter of when and not if his move away is confirmed.

With concerns over a lack of game time in the first-team, the young winger has rejected numerous contract offers from the Reds.

Confident in his own ability, Adekanye now looks set to sign a deal with Lazio until 2023.

While it is a great shame for Liverpool to lose a talented youngster, it is hard to envisage where and when the player would have broken into the first-team picture, with so many players ahead of him in the pecking order.
