# Bruce Grobbelaar on Alisson: He’s a world class goalkeeper!

If anybody knows a thing or two about what it takes to be a successful goalkeeper for Liverpool, it’s Bruce Grobbelaar.

Grobbelaar won six league titles with the Reds during his 14-year spell at Anfield, as well as three FA Cups, three League Cups and, famously, the European Cup too.

During an interview with Paul Machin of [The Redmen TV](https://theredmentv.com/), Grobbelaar was asked for his thoughts on Liverpool’s new goalkeeper; Alisson.

Grobbelaar was full of praise for the Brazilian, but also said he needs to prove that he can play to a high standard all season for the Reds.
