# ‘Chance’ – Andoni Iraola confirms double Liverpool injury boost ahead of Arsenal clash

**Liverpool face their toughest test of the Premier League season so far as they prepare to take on Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday.**

The Reds have won their last five games across all competitions and have really come into their own under Andoni Iraola in recent weeks.

However, they have a handful of injury concerns to deal with.

The likes of Conor Bradley, Giovanni Leoni and Hugo Ekitike are long-term absentees, but Dom Szoboszlai and Victor Munoz have been on the treatment table in recent weeks.

And now, Iraola has confirmed that they could be fit to face Arsenal.

## Liverpool handed double injury boost ahead of Arsenal clash

“I think Szoboszlai and Munoz have a chance but we still have two days,” said the Spaniard. I think they have a chance, yes.”

Judging by his comments, both Szoboszlai and Munoz are on the cusp of returning to action.

It goes without saying that Liverpool could do well with both players in the squad for Arsenal.

However, with games coming thick and fast, the last thing they need is to rush players back and risk aggravating their injuries, so they are better off erring on the side of caution.

As the gaffer said, with more than 48 hours to go for the game to kick off, time is on their side.
