# Coutinho already house hunting in Barcelona

Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has already begun house hunting in Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.

[Mundo Deportivo](https://www.football-espana.net/69137/coutinho-looks-barcelona-home) say the player has instructed those closest to him to find a suitable property in Barcelona amid more speculation about his future.

The report suggests that the 25-year-old would like to live close to former Liverpool star Luis Suarez and fellow countryman Paulinho.

Barcelona were heavily linked with the player throughout the summer and look set to come back in for the Brazilian in January.

Liverpool have already agreed a deal to sign Virgil van Dijk from Southampton for a world-record fee of £75 million.

The deal has led to some suggestions that Coutinho could leave Anfield in the new year to help finance the deal for the defender.

Losing Coutinho in January would come as a huge blow to the Reds, following the Brazilian’s recent run of form. Coutinho has netted seven times in his last seven games.
