# Dejan Lovren and Naby Keita return to squad for trip to Belgrade

Liverpool have been given a welcome boost ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League game with Red Star Belgrade with the news that both Dejan Lovren and Naby Keita have been declared fit and as such, both have travelled with the rest of the squad to Serbia.

Lovren missed Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal, a game he likely would have played in if fit, whilst Keita has been out since picking up a hamstring injury whilst representing Guinea during the last international break.

In what is sure to be a hostile atmosphere in Belgrade, Jurgen Klopp might look to bring the experienced Lovren back into the side to partner Virgil van Dijk, with either Trent Alexander-Arnold or Joe Gomez playing at right-back.

Keita is unlikely to start the game due to a lack of match fitness but he should take his place on the substitutes bench.
