# Derby make bid for Andre Wisdom

Derby County manager Gary Rowett has offered Liverpool £1 million to take Andre Wisdom to Pride Park, according to a report in [The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/06/12/derby-make-1m-bid-liverpools-andre-wisdom/?WT.mc_id=tmg_share_tw).

Wisdom, 24, impressed during a loan spell with The Rams back in 2013/14 and is a priority target for Rowett, who is looking to reshape his squad over the summer. Harry Redknapp is also rumoured to be interested in bringing the defender to Birmingham this summer, but Derby are the favourites for his signature.

Wisdom has spent the last four seasons away from Anfield, with loan spells at Derby, West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City and Red Bull Salzburg.

The right back’s last outing for The Reds came back in September 2013 as he featured in a 2-2 draw with Swansea City.

It is believed that Liverpool will allow Wisdom to leave the club permanently, however, they will look for a fee in the region of £2 million for the defender who has been at the club for nine years.
