# Early Liverpool team news: Man United (H)

Jurgen Klopp, the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month for September, has a few potential selection dilemmas ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Manchester United on Monday evening.

The Reds go into the tie on an unbeaten run of seven games in all competitions, in which time they’ve won six times and drawn once.

Klopp has dealt with injuries in pretty much everyone of those games with the likes of Roberto Firmino and Dejan Lovren being unavailable for selection at different times. Klopp spoke to the press ahead on Monday’s game and was rather positive.

It looks like Lovren and Nathaniel Clyne, both of whom who missed international duty, will be fit for selection, as will Joe Gomez who has recovered from his long-term injury.

The German also spoke about Adam Lallana and Gini Wijnaldum and whilst he did admit that both were struggling, he has not ruled out either of the midfield duo at this time.

The fact that the game takes place on Monday means that Klopp can have four training sessions with his players after the international break, so the injured players have more time to recover and the manager has more time to work on tactics with his team.
