# Ex-Red thinks Liverpool target Ramsey is on his way out at Arsenal

Aaron Ramsey is on his way out at Arsenal in the mind of former Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy.

The midfielder’s contract is set to expire at the Emirates in the summer, and negotiations to tie the 27-year-old to the red half of North London have reportedly broken down, with no suggestions they will resume.

Various clubs have been linked with making a move for the Welshman, including Liverpool.

In the mind of Bellamy, Ramsey’s departure is assured.

The pundit was speaking on Sky Sports’ *The Debate*, where he said ([quoted by Football London](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/players/aaron-ramsey-arsenal-contract-latest-15257087)):

> I think they’ve lost him already – I think he’s gone,

> Come January or the summer, he’ll be going somewhere else. Four or five years ago, every club wanted him – Manchester City, Barcelona.

> I think it’s time for him to move on.

> He’s become conscious of some players that have stayed too long at Arsenal and not got the best out of their ability.

Joining the Gunners from Cardiff in 2008, Ramsey has made 340 appearances in his decade at the club, becoming a fan-favourite in that time.
