# Fabinho tipped to start against Red Star in the Champions League

Liverpool summer signing Fabinho is being tipped to start in the Champions League against Red Star Belgrade tonight.

[The Daily Mail report](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6308949/Liverpools-Fabinho-set-given-big-chance-impress-against-Red-Star-Belgrade.html) that Jurgen Klopp has hinted the Brazilian could be given a rare start against the Serbian outfit.

The Liverpool boss joked that it would be a good birthday present for the midfielder, who turned 25 on Tuesday.

> It would make a nice present, yes? I didn’t make the line-up yet but we will use him.

Both Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita will miss the game through their respective injuries, meaning Fabinho could be the man to step into the midfield and finally prove his worth.

The Brazilian is taking his time to adapt to life in England after arriving for big money from Monaco in the summer.

Thanks in part to the form of Liverpool’s midfielders, Fabinho has found minutes at Anfield hard to come by, but Klopp will be hoping he can see the best of the player in the near future.
