Liverpool’s early Premier League rhythm under Andoni Iraola has shifted after three August and September fixture changes were confirmed for broadcast.
The club announced that the home game against Nottingham Forest will now be played on Saturday August 29 at 12.30pm, live on TNT Sports. The trip to Ipswich Town has moved to Friday September 4 at 8pm on Sky Sports, while the visit to AFC Bournemouth is set for Sunday September 20 at 2pm, also on Sky Sports.
Three Premier League fixture changes have been confirmed for Liverpool in August and September.
September Schedule Gives Liverpool A Clearer Iraola Test
The headline is not just the TV selection. It is the shape of Iraola’s first competitive month, with a short turnaround before Ipswich and a Bournemouth reunion arriving before Liverpool’s domestic pattern has fully settled.
- Nottingham Forest: Saturday August 29, 12.30pm, TNT Sports
- Ipswich Town: Friday September 4, 8pm, Sky Sports
- AFC Bournemouth: Sunday September 20, 2pm, Sky Sports
For Liverpool, that places extra weight on the work already being built around Iraola’s new staff structure. ReadLiverpoolFC has already analysed why Iraola’s four staff appointments matter tactically, and these fixture switches sharpen that point.
The official Liverpool update also directs supporters to the revised 2026-27 fixture list. For Iraola, the calendar now looks less abstract: three confirmed broadcast slots, two away trips and an immediate test of how quickly his Liverpool can find repeatable rhythm.
