# Four findings: Liverpool 1-2 Sevilla

Liverpool’s pre-season tour of the United States continues to frustrate, following a second consecutive defeat across the Atlantic.

The Reds suffered a 2-1 loss to Sevilla at Fenway Park in Boston, despite the Liga side playing a chunk of the second half with 10 men.

That was a due to a disgusting challenge by Joris Gnagnon on youngster Yasser Laurouci, with the Liverpool left-back subsequently stretchered off.

Sevilla’s antics were outrageous all evening, treating the game like a Champions League final rather than a summer friendly.

Nolito opened the scoring with a well-taken strike, before Divock Origi equalised on the stroke of half-time.

It was left to Alejandro Pozo to win it for Sevilla in the last minute, sealing a disappointing result for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Next up is a clash with Sporting CP in New York on Thursday, as Liverpool look to return to winning ways.

Here’s what we learned from Liverpool 1-2 Sevilla.
