# Fulham want to take Marko Grujic on loan

Newly promoted Fulham are interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic on a season-long loan, according to a report from [Neil Jones of Goal](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/liverpools-ovie-ejaria-set-for-rangers-loan-switch/1h67d1ek2pzp91grakotbt0g2t).

Grujic, who will be part of Serbia’s World Cup squad, spent the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff City, helping them to secure a place in the Premier League.

Cardiff are likely to pursue a deal to keep Grujic on loan, but they’ll face competition from Fulham.

Liverpool were keen to let Grujic go out on loan last year as they wanted him to play regularly, whilst the player himself pushed for a move as he wanted to secure a place in the Serbian World Cup squad.

With the Reds already bringing in midfield reinforcements in Naby Keita and Fabinho, Grujic’s chances of getting regular game time next season already look limited, so it won’t be a surprise to see him go out on loan again.
