# Harvey Elliott to sign his new contract

Liverpool forward Harvey Elliott will officially sign a three-year contract at the start of July.

The teenager has enjoyed an impressive first season at Anfield, having joined from Fulham last summer, playing for the first-team on numerous occasions at the age of 16.

Now that he’s turned 17, Liverpool can officially give him a professional contract, although it can only be for three years. When he turns 18, the Reds, if they do wish, can then offer to put two more years on his Anfield deal.

Elliott may need to bide his time before making a bigger impression at Liverpool, such is the competition for places ahead of him, but if he stays grounded and continues to excel in the youth teams and in training, he has what it takes to be a future star at Anfield.

He has the talent to make it, and if he keeps learning from Jurgen Klopp and the players around him, the sky is the limit.
