# Hazard admits he wants to reach Salah’s level

Eden Hazard has described Mohamed Salah as “incredible”, admitting he aims to reach the Egyptian’s level.

Hazard has long been considered one of Europe’s best attacking players, with a summer move to Real Madrid being mooted.

The Chelsea superstar played alongside Salah during the Liverpool forward’s disappointing spell at Stamford Bridge earlier this decade.

He has gone on to achieve great things during his two seasons at Anfield, however, instantly becoming one of the most recognisable players on the planet.

[Speaking](https://tribuna.com/en/liverpoolfc/news/3334831/) to NBC, Hazard says his former teammate is someone he looks up to and intends to emulate:

> In the Premier League, Mo Salah is one of my good friends and he’s been doing something incredible for two years.

> I tried to look at this player and I try to reach that level.

Hazard’s comments are interesting, particularly as many would put him on the level as Salah, or even rate him higher.

The Liverpool man has suffered some criticism of late after going seven matches without a goal, but it won’t be long until he hits top gear again.

Hazard heads to Anfield on April 14th, where he will be hoping to produce a similar performance to the one in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season, when his stunning late winner sent the Blues through.
