# Inter Milan make €90m offer for Liverpool target Nicolas Pepe

Italian giants Inter Milan have made a €90m offer for Liverpool transfer target Nicolas Pepe.

[According to L’Equipe, via Sport Witness,](https://sportwitness.co.uk/especially-liverpool-jurgen-klopp-keen-huge-attacking-signing/) Inter have submitted their opening bid for the forward, which comes in at €90m.

The report also claims that Liverpool are very interested in Pepe, with Jurgen Klopp said to be a keen admirer of the Ivorian international.

Pepe enjoyed a sensational season in Ligue 1 with Lille, as he found the back of the net 22 times and registered 11 assists – attracting interest from a host of top sides in Europe.

L’Equipe also report that Spanish side Atletico Madrid have also made an offer for Pepe, which is said to be a similar amount to Inter’s bid.

Liverpool, despite their interest, are yet to make an official move for Pepe, as Klopp looks to strengthen his squad this summer.

The Reds missed out on the Premier League title to Manchester City last season, but did secure the Champions League with a 2-0 win over Tottenham in the final.
