# January loan move likely for Harry Wilson

Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson is likely to leave the club on loan during the January transfer window, according to the [Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpools-harry-wilson-needs-senior-13732791).

The report states that the youngster, who has impressed for the club’s U-23 side this season, will go in search of first-team football.

There were several clubs interested in signing him on loan during the summer, with Celtic linked with a move for the winger.

Liverpool opted not to send the player out on loan in January and keep him involved with the club’s youth set-up.

He has enjoyed a fine start to the season and was nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award in September.

Wilson got his first taste of first-team football last season, featuring in the game against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup. He was also involved in the club’s end of season tour of Australia.
