# Jose Mourinho heaps praise on Jurgen Klopp following Barca triumph

Despite missing both Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, two strikes from Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum earned Klopp’s side a remarkable 4-0 win.

The victory means Liverpool will head to Madrid for the final and will take on either Tottenham or Ajax.

Previously, former United boss Mourinho has questioned Klopp’s ability to win a trophy at Anfield.

However, talking beIN Sports, cited by the [Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jose-mourinho-jurgen-klopp-liverpool-16240916), Mourinho heaped praise on Klopp, claiming the win was a reflection of the German’s personality.

> This is about him. This is a reflection of his personality, don’t give up, his fighting spirit.

> Everything I think today is about Jurgen’s mentality.

Liverpool could well win both the Champions League and the Premier League in what has been an unbelievable season, with the domestic title to be decided on Sunday.
