# Jurgen Klopp bemoans Salah dive against Chelsea

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was not happy to see Mohamed Salah booked for diving against Chelsea.

Speaking after the 1-0 defeat, as reported by [TalkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/liverpool-fc-news-jurgen-klopp-unhappy-mo-salah-dive-during-defeat-chelsea-180507281798), Klopp was angry with Salah’s decision to dive.

> It was a dive or he waited for the contact. I’m not sure. That’s not what I want to see, that’s not what he wants to do. It happened.

The key Liverpool attacker was booked during the first half after going to ground too easily following a challenge from Chelsea defender Gary Cahill.

Salah was unable to make a mark against his former side on Sunday in what was a frustrating afternoon for the Reds.

Klopp is not concerned by Salah’s dip in form. The player has not scored now in three games.

> He has played twice in a row against former team-mates, and it was the same today as it was against Roma. Before the game they are very friendly, all ‘Hello Mo, how are you?’, and hugs here and there. He has to be much better, he can do much better and he will score again, there is no doubt about that.

A first-half goal from Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud was enough to give Antonio Conte’s men three points on the day.

The result means that Liverpool’s place in the top four is still not certain, with the Reds needing a win against Brighton on the final day of the season.
