# Jurgen Klopp ‘certainly likes’ Jadon Sancho

Few come close to matching The Athletic’s James Pearce when it comes to reliability regarding Liverpool Football Club, and as such, when he puts some information out there, people sit up and pay attention.

In his latest [Q&A for The Athletic](https://theathletic.co.uk/1286355/2019/10/11/live-qa-chat-liverpool-with-our-reporter-james-pearce-fri-11-oct-4pm-bst-11am-et/), one supporter, Lloyd, facetiously asked Pearce if he’d heard anything about the rumours that Jadon Sancho has been house hunting in Liverpool, and whilst the journalist batted that one away, he did reveal that Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the England international.

I’ve not heard that one Lloyd! I’d be very surprised if that was true. Klopp certainly likes him but he’s only recently signed a new contract at Dortmund and would be very expensive.

Manchester United made an enquiry about the 19-year-old but were told that neither the player or Borussia Dortmund were interested in a deal, however, recent reports suggest that Dortmund are aware that they’ll lose the teenager at some point.

Plenty of Liverpool fans will be hoping that Klopp likes the winger enough to make a move for him, so that it’s the Reds who Dortmund end up losing their star asset to.
