# Jurgen Klopp set for striker crisis ahead of PSG meeting

Jurgen Klopp is preparing for a potential striker crisis at Anfield as he awaits further news about Roberto Firmino’s availability.

[The club have confirmed](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/316793-klopp-firmino-injury-update-liverpool) that they are still none the wiser about whether or not he will be able to feature against the Ligue 1 champions tomorrow night.

Firmino suffered an abrasion to the eye after a clash with Jan Verthonghen on Saturday, but it has been revealed that the Brazilian has avoided any permanent damage.

When quizzed on the Brazilian, Klopp was unable to give a definitive answer.

> He is much better. We all saw the picture and we were massively worried. But all these worries are away so he will be fine. If he will be fine for tomorrow, I don’t know in the moment.

Meanwhile, both Dominic Solanke and Divock Origi have been [ruled out of the game](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/316801-jurgen-klopp-liverpool-psg-injuries) with ‘minor knocks’, which both occurred during a U23s game against Swansea over the weekend.

An ankle injury will keep the latter out of the meeting, but neither player’s knock is believed to be too serious.
