# Juventus end their interest in Barella

Liverpool’s hopes of landing Nicolo Barella have been boosted with the news that Juventus have ended their interest in the player.

[Calciomercato report](https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/exclusive-juventus-were-the-first-to-approach-e35m-liverpool-tar-64752) that the Old Lady are no longer interested in a deal to sign the Cagliari midfielder.

The Liverpool target was [linked with a move](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2018/09/20/juventus-interested-in-reds-target-nicolo-barella/) to Turin recently, the Juventus among the clubs looking to sign the young midfielder.

Having signed Cristiano Ronaldo last summer, the Serie A winners may need to balance the books in the near future and could be put off by the player’s price.

Any deal for the young midfielder is set to cost potential suitors around €30-35 million, according to the report.

Roma, Inter and Milan are also interested in the midfielder, while Spurs have also been touted as a potential destination for the player.

Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso is said to be a huge admirer of the 21-year-old.

Barella is very highly thought of in Italy and is being tipped to make a move away from Cagliari in the near future.
