# Karius demands FIFA take action against Besiktas

Loris Karius wants FIFA to take action against Besiktas for not paying his wages, according to the [https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-keeper-loris-karius-demands-15964888](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-keeper-loris-karius-demands-15964888)*[Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-keeper-loris-karius-demands-15964888)*.

The German goalkeeper has not been paid for four months, it has been revealed.

He filed a complaint to football’s governing body in February demanding to be paid within 10 days – a deadline that has since passed.

It is a situation that is only adding fuel to the fire in a frosty relationship between Karius and Besiktas.

The 25-year-old completed a two-year loan switch to the Turkish giants last summer, following his Champions League final nightmare for Liverpool against Real Madrid back in May.

His performances in Turkey have failed to convince and he was even jeered by his own supporters after a mistake in Besiktas’ 3-2 win over Konyaspor last weekend.

His manager, Senol Gunes, also criticised him publicly, saying: “Let me put it this way, if I still had Tolga \[Zengin\] available I would play him.”
