# Kent could be given a chance in pre-season games

Liverpool’s in-demand 22-year-old Ryan Kent could be given a run of games during pre-season, [according to the Daily Record](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/ryan-kent-rangers-how-much-16267002).

The young forward is reported to have caught the eyes of a few clubs with newly-promoted Aston Villa said to be one of them, as well as Scottish club Rangers, who he spent the 2018/19 season on loan with.

However, Jurgen Klopp could yet cast an eye over the player before making any transfer decision.

It has been reported by the [Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-want-more-12m-ryan-16034088) that Kent will only be allowed to leave if the Reds’ £12 million evaluation is met, which could spell bad news for Rangers manager Steven Gerrard.

The 22-year-old appeared 38 times for the Gers last season, scoring six goals, sparking talk of a permanent deal in the summer.

Kent came through the ranks at Liverpool but has never been handed his official debut by the club.
