# Klopp praises “massive” win against Fulham

Jurgen Klopp hailed Liverpool’s victory over Fulham as a “massive victory” and was proud of the character his side showed following Ryan Babel’s equaliser.

The former Liverpool man appeared to have dented the Reds’ title aspirations after he levelled the score, before James Milner converted from the penalty spot to win it for the away side.

> Now I like the result more with the 2-1 than the 1-0, because coming back from a situation like that. I think we fully deserved to win the game. It was an average game, massive result.

> First half was a bit rusty. Second half we could have finished it off and then it is clear at 1-0 if you don’t kill it off that can happen. Babel was there, that is how football is. They deserved a goal but we deserved three points. A brilliant afternoon I have to say.

Liverpool return from the international break at the end of the month with another crucial tie, this time at home to top four contenders Tottenham.
