# Klopp reveals Liverpool will have to be ‘Perfect’ to win title next year

Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Liverpool will have to be “perfect” to win the title next season.

The Reds narrowly missed out on the Premier League title, with Manchester City’s victory over Brighton and Hove Albion enough to hand them their second successive title in a row.

Liverpool were able to beat Wolves 2-0 at Anfield, but it wasn’t to be for the Reds.

Speaking to[ESPN](https://www.espn.co.uk/football/liverpool/story/3850866/klopp-liverpool-will-have-to-be-near-perfect-to-win-title-next-season)after the game, Jurgen Klopp revealed that Liverpool will have to be perfect if they are to win the Premier League title next season,

> As long as City are around, with the quality they have, the power, the financial power and that stuff, then it’s not any other team that will pass them easily.

> So we need to be very, very, close to perfection to win the Premier League as long as this is the case.

> We have made unbelievable big steps and I expect more to come — what that means in the end, I don’t know.

> If you see whatever happens to you in life as the only chance you will ever have, I feel a bit for you to be honest, because there is a lot to come, a lot of years, it is all about what you do with it.

Liverpool still have the chance of silverware this season, with the UEFA Champions League final yet to come for the Reds.

Klopp also spoke about the 30 years since Liverpool’s last league title, with Klopp ready to have another shot at the prize next season.

> People will tell us now that it is 30 years or whatever but they have bigger problems to be honest, the people who say that, or the clubs who say that. We will go again
